Elizabeth Arden Boosting 5 Minute Facial

If you're skin is looking a little dull and tired and you feel the products you are using aren't performing as good as they should be it may be something as simple as not exfoliating enough, if we don't exfoliate we get a build up of dead skin cells so our serums and moisturisers end up just sitting on top of any build up and aren't actually penetrating the skin.

This mask is amazing for reviving tired skin to reveal a radiant glow.

It is a 2 step treatment, the first step is a self foaming enzyme exfoliator which is left on the skin for 2 minutes. You will feel a slight tingle on your skin as it contains active ingredients.

It gently cleanses and purifies the skin to help detoxify surface impurities and promote skin cell turnover. It contains glycerin that replenishes skin with moisture and a blend of botanical extracts.

Step 2 is a serum which helps reduce the appearance of an uneven skin tone, increases skin brightness and smoothes fine lines and wrinkles.

It is perfect for use at home once a week, after just one use you will see an amazing difference in the overall appearance and feel of your skin.

There is no need to remove makeup before hand as the mask will do that for you.

You just use one pump of each and you will get between 10-12 uses out of the mask and a little more from the serum.

It costs $164 and is available at all Elizabeth Arden counters or else €84 from Boots.ie

I'm Back.... :-)

Hello everyone!

As you can see I haven't blogged in a few months but I plan to get back to it!

In January I moved from Ireland to New Zealand so I've been getting settled in a new house and a new job and just getting to know the area really! :-) It's an amazing place to live, everyone is really friendly and it's really laid back!

I started work with Elizabeth Arden as their Promotional Consultant for the South Island so I basically travel to different stores all over the South Island running make over and facial events and I'm loving it so far, they are such an amazing company to work with!

I will probably have a few posts about my favourite Arden products which I am absolutely loving along with all my other fav brands!

I will leave you with some pics of my time in NZ so far!

Bye for now,

My January Favourites :-)

Boots No7 Cleansing Oil

I got this in Boots for €14.25 and I absolutely love it. I usually use cream cleansers and I wanted to try something new so got this. You massage a few pumps of the oil into dry skin and simply rinse off, it smells gorgeous and it effectively removes all makeup including waterproof eye makeup. It leaves skin feeling soft and hydrated.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream

I have been using this the past 8 or 9 weeks morning and evening and it's amazing! Massage into skin in upward, circular motions, it really leaves your skin glowing and healthy looking and is a great base for makeup. It plumps skin up and evens out skin texture. It is quite pricey at €90 for a 50ml jar and is available in Brown Thomas.

Cocoa Brown 1 Hour Dark Tan

By far this is the best tan I have used. I have used more expensive brands in the past but from the first time I used Cocoa Brown I fell in love with it! If you are after a rich brown natural looking tan at an affordable price then this is for you.

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel

I blogged about this before and it's my current fav nail polish. There is so many gorgeous shades to choose from. It claims to last up to 2 weeks, I haven't got 2 weeks out of it personally but I usually get a week out of it before it starts to chip which is pretty good. It costs €7.49 per bottle and you need to get the top coat too if you want it to last which is also €7.49.

Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'n' Kohl Eye Pencil in 'Bedroom Eyes'

Another Charlotte Tilbury item in on my list! My go to black kohl liner has always been MAC Smoulder, but I have been converted to this. It is a pencil to liquid liner, long lasting, won't fade and it glides on so easily. If you like an intense black eye liner I highly recommend this! It costs €25 and is available to buy in Brown Thomas.

Rimmell Lash Accelerator in Extreme Black

This is great for lengthening lashes and making them look more voluminous. It stays put throughout the day and won't smudge. It doesn't clump and after prolonged use it claims to lenghten lashes. It costs €10.99.

Penneys Clip in Hair Extensions

I seen these in Penneys and at only €8 I said I would try them out. I got the curly clip ins for adding volume over length . They tangle quite easily but there only €8 so it won't break the bank to have a few sets on hand!

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel

In the summer Sally Hansen launched the Miracle Gel range of nail polishes comprising of 47 stunning shades. They claim to provide up to two weeks of chip free colour and a gel finish without the use of UV lighting , perfect for some at home pampering.

I have been using these the last few months but am only getting around to reviewing them now.

Working as a florist I find it impossible to get through a day without my nails chipping, usually by midday at least a couple are chipped. I have used loads of different brands and always found one of the cheapest always had the best results, Catrice. However I now have a new favourite :-)

I now get roughly a week of chip free nails which is amazing for me! I start with a base coat then apply two coats of my choosen shade of Miracle Gel wait for them to dry and then apply the top coat. This is a clear polish that reacts with natural light to harden the polish. It leaves a high shine, salon looking manicure.

It costs €7.49 for for each bottle and you will get lots of uses out of each! Overall I love these and they are now my go to polishes!

'Pinky Promise '

My fav nude 'Bare Dare'

Have you tried these yet?

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Micellar waters have been around for awhile now they are soap and alcohol free. They are basically a better more gentle version of the traditional face wipe.

I've been trying out the Garnier Micellar Water for awhile now. It leaves skin soft and doesn't irritate it. It also removes stubborn eye makeup. It's also suitable for you if you have sensitive skin.

It's great for the quick removal of makeup perfect if you have had a late night, just throw some on a cotton pad and wipe away! Or it's great if you are away for the weekend and don't want to be bringing separate cleansers and toners with you.

You can pick this up in Boots or any pharmacy for €6.99. It comes in a large 400ml bottle so this will last you ages.

The Best Contouring Brush

I have been on the hunt for the best contouring brush for ages and I have finally found it :-)

Blank Canvas F30 Is amazing it makes contouring easy especially for creating the perfect chiselled cheekbones and it can be used with cream or powder products.

I'm a lover of Blank Canvas brushes they are all amazing quality and are so reasonably priced they are far better than some of the more expensive brands I have tried in the past this one is only €19.99 from http://www.blankcanvascosmetics.com/products/f30-sculpt-brush.html

Thanks for reading,
Zoë :-)
